Mills consoles People's Republic of China
John Evans Atta Mills, has consoled the people of China in their moment of extreme grief in the wake of the earthquake that has claimed over 40 thousand precious lives.
Signing a Book of Condolence at the Chinese Embassy in Accra, the NDC Leader, on behalf of the Founder, Council of Elders, Party Leadership, and the entire membership of the NDC, expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the people of the Republic of China.
“Our hearts and minds are with the people of China in this moment of grief and my prayer is that the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace” Professor Mills signed off.
In view of the money and effort that has been invested in hosting the Olympic Games, the NDC Leader, speaking to Ambassador Extraordinaire & Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Ghana, His Excellency Yu Wenzhe, mentioned that he was hopeful the strong spirit of the people of China will keep them together to host the games successfully.
H.E. Yu Wenzhe thanked the NDC Leader for his show of sympathy for the Chinese people and assured him that it shall forever be appreciated.
He also thanked the people of Ghana for their show of sympathy the people of China, and wished Professor Mills all the best in his endeavours.
